Make VR even more realistic
Virtual Reality devices are able to fool our brains so effectively, that we almost physically feel our virtual surroundings. No wonder why the technology is so successful. Although if we would be able to analyse the technology’s timeline from the future, we would most likely be blown away from what is yet to come to improve VR immersion. Great example for this Zeph VR a Kickstarter project that’s just started out on the 2nd of November, and pledged $35k right away on it’s first day.
Zeph VR is a VR Headset accessory that using machine learning technology in order to recognize the sound of the wind and motion in VR games. The accessory then uses it’s double fans to make animated wind, and motion real. Zeph VR can be used as a cooling device as well if needed, though it’s main purpose is to make VR even more realistic.
For now, the device is only compatible with “the big three” VR headsets, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and the PlayStation VR. Although they say “As new VR systems come out, we’ll update the ZephVR’s designs to make sure it will work with them too.”
